The Amritsar police on November 15 dismantled a trans-border narco-smuggling and arms cartel with the arrest of three individuals, Aditya Pratap alias Kaka, Shambhu Kabir and Muskan along with 8 kg of heroin, 6 kg of opium, 13.1 kg of chemicals used to enhance the quantity of contraband, and four pistols along with 17 cartridges from their possession at Kot Khalsa in Amritsar district. Aditya was arrested at Prem Nagar Road in Amritsar with two pistols and 13 live cartridges, leading to the recovery of 8 kg of heroin, 2 kg of chemicals, 6 kg of opium, and a Glock pistol. Shambhu was arrested at Guru Ki Wadali Road in Amritsar with 275 grams of heroin, 11.1 kg of chemicals, and a .32 bore pistol. Muskan was identified as the daughter of absconding racket kingpin Sunny.
