Rohan, seeking money, was assigned by Passia—who is linked to Pakistan-based terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda—to target the residence of retired police officer Jaskirat Singh Chahal. The attack, carried out on September 11, was foiled due to the poor quality of the grenade, resulting in minimal impact.
