Punjab Police on June 7 arrested two drug traffickers, identified as Gurditta alias Kalu and Captain and seized 6 kg of heroin from their possession, near Bhakna village in Amritsar district. Police stated that the heroin consignment was sent by Pakistan-based handlers for distribution in Punjab.
On June 7, Punjab Police, on day 98 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign registered 97 first information reports (FIRs), arrested 132 drug smugglers and recovered 1.3 kg heroin and INR 1.5 lakhs drug money from their possession, across Punjab.
On June 6, Punjab Police, on day 97 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign registered 96 first information reports (FIRs), arrested 134 drug smugglers and recovered 1.08 kg of heroin and INR 4.97 lakhs drug money from their possession across Punjab.
On June 5, Punjab Police, on day 96 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign, registered 108 first information reports (FIRs), arrested 154 drug smugglers and recovered 1.6 kg of heroin and INR 10.03 lakhs of drug money from their possession across Punjab.
Punjab Police on June 5 busted two narco-trafficking cartels and arrested six operatives, identified as Vishal Singh, Didar Singh alias Kali, Sevenbir Singh, Harjit Singh alias Jita, Jaj Singh and Jasbir Kaur, and seized 4 kg of heroin along with a Toyota Innova car from their possession, in the Chheharta area near Amritsar in Amristar district.
On June 5, Border Security Force (BSF) troops recovered one packet of heroin weighing 531 grams from fields near Balve Dariya village in Ajnala in Amritsar district.
On June 4, Punjab Police, on day 95 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign registered 99 first information reports (FIRs), arrested 138 drug smugglers and recovered 4.3 kg of heroin, 6133 intoxicant pills and INR 1.42 lakhs drug money from their possession, across Punjab.
Amritsar Rural police on June 3 arrested three individuals, identified as Gurmeet Singh, Hardev Singh and Tajinder Singh, and seized 722 grams of heroin and INR 1 lakh drug money from their possession, near Neshta village in Amritsar district.
On June 3, Punjab Police, on day 94 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign registered 101 first information reports (FIRs), arrested 140 drug smugglers and recovered 2.8 kg of heroin, 3132 intoxicant pills and INR 17750 drug money from their possession across Punjab.
Police on June 3 arrested three individuals, identified as Jodhbir Singh alias Kohali, Boota Singh alias Vishal and Karanbir Singh alias Karan and seized 2.4 kg of heroin, a Glock pistol, and a Swaraj tractor from their possession, near Dalke village in Ajnala in Amritsar district.

On June 2, Punjab Police, on day 93 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign, registered 77 First Information Reports (FIRs), arrested 98 drug smugglers and recovered 1.5 kg of heroin, 2508 intoxicant pills and INR 3900 drug money from their possession, across Punjab.
Police on June 2 arrested one individual, identified as Ajay Kumar and seized 12 grams of heroin from their possession, in Sangrur in Sangrur district.
Dhuri Sadar Police on June 2 arrested one unidentified woman and seized 7 grams of heroin from her possession, near Dhuri village in Sangrur district.
On June 1, Punjab Police, on day 92 of its “Yudh Nashian Virudh” campaign, registered 83 first information reports (FIRs), arrested 113 drug smugglers and recovered 2.09 kg of heroin, 530 grams of opium, 32679 intoxicant pills and INR 1.8 lakhs drug money from their possession, across Punjab.
The Border Security Force (BSF), in a joint operation with Punjab Police on June 1, recovered two packets of heroin weighing 1.017 kg and four DJI Mavic 3 Classic drones (two of which were damaged) from Ratankhurd and Dhanoe Khurd villages in Amritsar district, and Khemkaran and Dal villages in Tarn Taran district of Punjab.

On May 31, Border Security Force (BSF) troops recovered a packet of heroin weighing 548 grams along with a drone from fields near Habibwala village in Ferozepur district. The recovered drone was a DJI Mavic 3 Classic model.

On May 30, Border Security Force (BSF) troops, in a joint operation with Punjab Police, recovered a packet of heroin weighing 589 grams from fields near Dal village in Tarn Taran district.
