With increased resources and personnel, the ADTF has intensified its crackdown on drug smuggling, dismantling several networks and attaching assets worth INR 49 crore. So far this year, 700 kg of heroin has been recovered, compared to 1,360 kg in 2023.

Police are actively identifying habitual offenders and enhancing night patrols in sensitive areas.
